They were chain drive,& made out of heavy-gauge metal.I'm sure they were expensive when new. I gave it away to a co-worker,but tried to get it back, when we had kids. He wouldn't give it back to me for some reason. A Friend of mine had one of those '57 Pontiacs. They were battery powered. Saw one at an antique store in Golden,Colorado. 3 Quote Link to comment

Dguy210
Can anyone confirm if these are Datsun Roadsters or something else (MG?)? Sitting in a nearby backyard I saw from the street, I don't know the people there though. Edited December 25, 2018 by Dguy210 1 Quote Link to comment

Might need to wonder over there or ask the neighbor between us, who I know pretty well, if he knows anything about them. Quote Link to comment

I can't make out a lot of detail from the picture size, both look to be between '65-'70. Engines are out of both, front disk brakes are gone from the white one. Most likely, parts have been sold off or taken off and used on good roadster(s) in the garage. There could be a bit of salvageable parts yet. Quote Link to comment
wayno
There is nothing there worth rebuilding, cheaper to buy a complete decent driver, Datsun Roadster parts are very expensive. 2 Quote Link to comment
