I’m New Here!

Hey I just joined this forum and I have a question. I got a 1980 Datsun 720 (L20B) Pickup from my father-in law. It needs some work but I was wondering if there are specific websites for Datsun/Nissan parts and rebuild kits or if you gotta just google every part you need. I’ve never bought parts on eBay so I don’t know how reliable they are.

Well, body and drive train parts try a want ad here... http://community.ratsun.net/classifieds/category/3-datsun-parts/?sort_key=date_added&sort_order=desc  ... High wear items like brake pads and shoes, shocks, light bulbs, filters and fluids try a local auto supply like NAPA. Peripheral things like water pumps, alternators, distributors, carbs and such can also be bought there also but they can often be 'bad in the box' and although they may have a life time warranty it does not pay for the time to replace them for the 4th time nor the towing bill. Often these parts are better from a wrecking yard as long as they are an original used part or have rebuilt. You'll learn to never throw an old part away.

Feel free to ask where a particular part may be found or a substitute or how to repair it. If asking for a part please do it in the classifieds this keeps the forums free for information sharing and discussions.
