Will 12" rims on a B210?

Recommended Posts

They were previously on a stock 110. I've got 4 of these and a spare.

Stock B210 is 155SR13 width unknown but the rim was 4.5" wide with 24" tall tires.

Stock 1200 tire is 600:12 or in today's tires 155/80R X12 or roughly 22" tall and 6.3 wide on a 4" rim.

Going to a smaller diameter will increase acceleration, but throw the speedometer off. If running a 3.9 diff at 3,000 that's 54MPH with the 1200 rims and tires on you will only be going 50MPH even though it reads 54.

I think they will fit.

Put them on! Let the car down slowly. You tell us.

I love it when you throw numbers around, Mike. You've got one of those engineering kind of brains. Lucky! I never would have even considered that aspect of things. Damn good info to know.

And you know I'm putting those suckers on there! Faster acceleration... Woo hoo!

Hell, I just looked that shit up and used a calculator. The smaller diameter may look a little off on the larger B210 wheel arches and the car will be approx one inch lower.

You MAY have an issue with the calipers not fitting inside the rim/wheel on the front.  I put 12" wheels on a 79 210 so I could roll it around. I will have to look and see if I took off the calipers....can't remember for sure.

EDIT: 04/10/18. Looked at this yesterday, car has no rotors.

EDIT EDIT: You should send those wheels to me. :poke:

If they don't fit or look funny (not in a good way) I'll definitely put them up for sale. You got first dibs. :)
