I found it on craigslist out of portland, the car is actually up here in Kelowna B.C Canada with me. It says its a well known SCCA car from the 70's , 80's. Its number 62 red and blue, id post a picture but i dont know how. i did some looking to see if i could find anything on this car but was unable to find anything. VADAT
I’ve seen it online forever. Way too far away from me but I did see a forum thread about it somewhere. Don’t remember where but they gave the driver’s name, history, and shop that most likely built that car. I would be worried about rust though. Stored outdoors with no windows.... I would be interested in parts if you buy it though. Haha. Quote Link to comment
Duk610
windshield is cracked so i probably wont buy it, i already have a 73 2dr with a cracked windshield. The big one is the add says it comes with a low milage L20b motor and 4spd, so i says to the guy ill come with cash and take it if it somewhat runs, hey says to me it has no motor a running 610 is 15g, i emailed him back said have you read your add it clearly says comes with motor and tranny. I dont think he liked that hasnt got back to me since Quote Link to comment
VADAT
Huh. I wonder why it hasn’t sold yet... What a clown. Quote Link to comment
docbainey
The only well known 610 was raced by Bob Sharp. The lack of flares on that car means it was probably a showroom stock car or an ITB car. Never remember seeing one in showroom stock so that leaves improved touring, which was just a regional class. It should have a vehicle log book that will show every race entered and who the driver(s) where, if it is that well known. Trying to compare the sale of Sharp's 610 to that one is laughable at best. datsunfreak
The only well known 610 was raced by Bob Sharp. i would argue the Balboa car is fairly well known, at least on the west coast... http://japanesenostalgiccar.com/motorsport-the-reincarnation-of-lady-blue/ 1 Quote Link to comment
ArchetypeDatsun
First 610 was '73. Wrong actually it was out in 1972 as the Datsun 1800 aka 610 just more rare to find one nowadays. If you look on Los Angeles craigslist you'll see a 1972 Datsun 1800 wagon. 1 Quote Link to comment
