mainer311
The SR22VET Neo is a cool little engine that people have been putting into the Roadsters. It requires a bit more work though. Pulls hard to a high RPM thanks to the VVEL. 2 Quote Link to comment

But yes it’s different. I agree. 1 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
Always a good idea to keep the stock idiot light. You can't possibly keep a constant eye on the gauge but a red light? Can't miss it. You could also wire one of those ignition buzzers into it as well. 1 Quote Link to comment

mainer311
No time for the truck today. Installed some competition front springs in the roadster though. 3 Quote Link to comment
d.p
You ever think about finishing your garage? Drywall and shit and the like? I have a detached garage at my other house and in the process of building one at my new house. 1 Quote Link to comment
mainer311
It’s crossed my mind, but there’s no heat out there, so there’s no sense in putting up insulation. The upstairs was actually framed out to be an in-law apartment, but I turned it into my wood shop. The “bathroom” is where I store all of my different kinds of lumber. The garage was built in 2000 two previous owners ago, and so far nobody has bothered with it. I did just put a new $9k roof on it though. Edited May 6, 2019 by mainer311 1 Quote Link to comment

Yeah above mine is a deck so I couldn't even insulate it if I wanted to. Its 99% water proofed but it makes it a challenge if I wanted to mount anything overhead. I just got the slab poured and I am elated because I have a place to work on my cars again. It blows having to use a jack/jack stands on uneven gravel. mainer311
When I rented, I used to work on my cars in the driveway. I remember installing my lift shackles on my Xterra in 20 degree weather during a snowstorm. 1 Quote Link to comment
d.p
Yeah I have been spoiled up until this house with garages but I bought this one knowing it had the potential for a good one. Wish it was high enough for a lift but it is what it is. Could always have an outside lift. 1 Quote Link to comment

d.p
Niiice. I don't have enough land to build something that large. How much a pole barn like that cost? 2 Quote Link to comment

Stoffregen Motorsports
60 x 40 with a 24 ft roof peak (for future second story/mezzanine). The building itself was about $27K. 2 Quote Link to comment
d.p
Solid man. Way more than I would ever need but I do appreciate a nice large garage like that. 3 Quote Link to comment
