d.p
Is there such a thing? Quote Link to comment
wayno
There may have been at one time, but I have never seen one good enough to interest me. The thing about rubber mats is that they trap water underneath them and it takes a long time for it to dry out, this can promote rust, so I for the most part have stayed away from stuff like that, I don't own anything with a pad or liner right now, but my 720 has a canopy on it most of the time, that keeps things dry. 1 Quote Link to comment
d.p
Figured as much, guess only option is line-x. Thanks wayno Quote Link to comment

HOGIE
What Wayno said. Rubber mats trap water and shit and your bed will rust underneath it Quote Link to comment
wayno
Where he lives they use salt on the roads, they rust from the underside out anyway if you drive your vehicle when they are using salt. They are starting to use salt around here also. :( Quote Link to comment
d.p
I don't drive it when they salt and it's kept in a nice warm garage so no worries there. Besides doesn't snow all that much where I am. Will look into the herculiner. Quote Link to comment
KELMO
FWIW, I remember back in when the Hardbody trucks were newish Nissan offered a rubber bed mat. Sold a few, but not too many. Quote Link to comment
jefe de jefes
Is there such a thing? This one is in a 521. I can't remember what I pulled it out of. Maybe a ford f150 ? If you get one from a full size you can always cut down to exact fit. Fairly cheap at the yards during their sale. Does help with stuff sliding around. Quote Link to comment
tr8er
I've use a stable mat from a farm supply house. Cut to fit. They are extremely heavy. But they also are extremely thick. I was using it when hauling boulders and it was the right thing for the job. Quote Link to comment

jefe de jefes
What is the cover made out of? Fiberglass. The outside frame is metal. Aluminum I think. Lightweight....... Quote Link to comment
