Knightnite05
http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/vfIAAOSwz2lXBzlK/s-l1600.jpg Planning on getting a 620 but wondering what the yellow digit on the far right of the odometer means? Is it for 1/10 of a mile or full on mile? Seems like a pretty dumb question lol but I just want to make sure... thanks in advance Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The odometer only goes to 99,999.9 and then back to zero. If you find one with any reading add at least 100,000 to it. Yes the far right is in 10ths of a mile. There are no dumb questions. (well, after 10 years here there have been a couple, but I assure you yours isn't even close) Quote Link to comment
Knightnite05
Thanks for the reply "king rat" So there's not real way of knowing how many times the odometer went over? Quote Link to comment
kelowg
Right, but lookin over vehicle well clue u in on milage and or how well its been maintained. When properly cared for, go 200k easily. Best gauge for wear and tear. Drain trans and diff, color and drain deposits say lot bout drivetrain condition. Tho many r low or out of fluid. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Look at high wear items. How worn is the brake pedal pad, the drivers seat upholstery, carpet or lining by the gas pedal, scratches on the driver's door lock and the ignition switch. Does the driver's door drop because of worn hings when opened? How worn the driver's door arm rest? How scratched is the windshield from the wiper blade? I find that a well maintained vehicle has all it's lights working because the owner cares what it looks like. If you care about your ride you fix even the small things. Some things do wear out, but if the fuel pump, volt regulator, alternator and carb have been replaced likely it's been well used. Well used is fine as long as well maintained also. 1 Quote Link to comment

sebpv
I love the rare items on it. One of a kind. Just dont do like I did; only do one small job at a time. Eventually she'll be like new. Quote Link to comment
Knightnite05
Which parts are rare? The rails on the side? Quote Link to comment
mcordero8
That's a nice looking truck. Those bed rails are very different. I have some from my first truck somewhere at my Dad's house. I was thinking about putting them on my new build, but I don't know if it will match my truck. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Which parts are rare? The rails on the side? The DATSUN1600 emblem was only used for the '73 model year, so somewhat rare. It's my favorite 620 emblem. They should have kept them for the DATSUN1800 and DATSUN2000 The rails on the side are.... nothing special. That's what the bed hooks are for. Quote Link to comment
