620 turn signals

everytime I use my turn signals it lags for them to actually turn on whichever way I'm turning any suggestions? Thanks

Get a new electronic relay. About $7. I use one and the signals turn on immediately.

The stock flasher unit is load dependent. The more bulbs, the faster it flashes. If a bulb burns out or you have a heavy load on the alternator like the wipers, headlamps and heater on they will flash slower also.

 

Yes get a new flasher from a newer car in a wrecking yard next time you're parts hunting. Get two and do the 4 way flasher too.

EF32 Electronic flasher is about $8 to $12 and is consistent from 9 to 15 volts.

It's a 2 prong. Fused power to the "+" and the turn signal wire to the "L"

 

Works with regular bulbs and LED's, if you have enough load.

thanks everyone I'll try it out but yeah whenever I turn on my hazards all indicators turn on quick but turn signals lag to actually turn on haha

they also make one with 3 terminals, which is just a ground. switched to this when i installed led tail lights

when my turn signals go slow my alternator isnt charging so good. Or your at idle(low rpms)
