Buy some jets and get tuning. The jets you need? Who the hell knows? That's why tuning is such a scary word, because it means trying things that may or may not work.

Maybe you should pick up the phone and call them if you're not sure what to buy. I'm sure they have someone there who can help you decide which jet kit you need.

Pierce in California has great phone service.  http://www.piercemanifolds.com/

Very helpful, will likely tell you exactly what you need, provided you're not lean all the time because of a vacuum leak.  If you're using the plastic spacer with O-rings, eliminate it and use a paper gasket.  It could be the source of all your issues.  Turn the idle down until you can get it below 650 rpm and set the idle mixture, then work your way up from there.  If you can't get low enough, you have vac leaks.  You CANNOT tune idle while the emulsions are being used or the whole works will be screwed up.  Make sure float height AND drop are correct.  Possibly try moving the float up in .010" increments to raise the fuel level in the bowl if you'r'e starving for fuel.  Also try running a little more fuel pressure - mine seem to like 4.5 psi.

Too scared to move forward?  Buy this and you'll have real numbers to tune to:

Its cheaper than all the extra jets you'll end up buying if you don't have it.
