Anonymous Waffle
If your 620 was a field car, or wasn't maintained very well, and your cowl was filled to the brim with dirt and leaves, check your hinges. I noticed my hood was sitting high on the passenger side, and while I was cleaning out the cowl, I noticed that the hinge bracket that is welded to the cowl was bent, and also moved when the hood moved. Basically, the bolt that the hood hinge rides on can rust to your hood hinge, and can cause strain on the cowl and brackets. Remove and clean and grease it up. Quote Link to comment
