78minitruck620
Hey there fellow Ratsun owners, new to the datsun scene. just picked up a 78 620. was wondering if anyone has figured out a front brake upgrade for the 620s that already have disk brakes in the front, would like to keep it datsun/nissan... anyone able to point me in the right direction? Bleach
Well, you're lucky to have a 1978. That is the first year that actually had disc brakes on the front. Previous years had drum brakes on all four wheels. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Welcome to Ratsun. You'll find the answer to this and any other question by typing '720 brakes on a 620' or '620 disc brake up grade' or some other combination of words into our search engine. Yu can also use Google and add Ratsun at the end and it will search out results too. Generally the '83-'86.5 720 and '86.5 and up D21 Hardbody spindle and hubs, caliper and rotor will fit the 620. http://community.ratsun.net/topic/59255-78-620-disc-brake-upgrade/ Quote Link to comment
Scgreen620
If you don't have time to take everything apart at the junkyard take the spindles, rotor calipers all the way up to the upper and lower ball joints out of a 86 v6 hardbody that's what I did And what mike said lol Quote Link to comment
