When it arrived she was confused and asked the waitress (there were no servers back then) where's the knife and fork? Cultures and eating rituals vary. Long ago a lady I worked with took me for Chinese food, or what passes for Chinese in N.Am. She insisted on chop sticks, no forks. I was frustrated and hungry and the meal was 'difficult'. But I did try them again..... and again and over the years learned I can feed myself in a passably civilized manner. Quote Link to comment
