stretcher66
I have a 71 510 wagon that i have lost my brake lights. when i use a test light at the switch, i get power on one side and nothing on the other which i assume is how it is supposed to be. but when i engage the pedal i lose power to both sides. Is this normal? i even tried jumping the switch but no lights still. all other lights and electrical work fine. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Replace the fuse that powers it and clean the contacts that hold it.. I suspect that it isn't making a good solid connection. 1 Quote Link to comment
Draker
I lost my brake lights once. It was a broken spade connector at the fuse box. Fuse would do the same thing and probably more likely. Quote Link to comment
