Cmhopkins99
I recently got my first project car, a 1978 Datsun B210. The guy I got the car from removed the carburetor to clean it. I am trying to get a rebuild kit for it, but I am unable to find which one I need, as the part number is not on the carburetor. I took pictures of it, so please let me know if you know the part number and/or which rebuild kit I'll need. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Best to order based on the year, model and the engine size. That carb looks good. Not much to wear out on them, accelerator pump mostly. Biggest cause of poor running is dirt and adjustments are off. Be sure to replace the fuel filter at the same time. Welcome to Ratsun. Cosmonaut
Worked on more then a few B210's through the years....the carburetor you have pictured doesn't look right.Upon closer examination, that is not a carburetor that belongs on that car. Looks to be a Nissan Sentra Carb, around 1982. Go with a Weber, jetted specifically for your car. Or, find an Hitachi DCH 306 that has not been reman'd. That has a tight throttle shaft. 2 Quote Link to comment
Cmhopkins99
I got a repair manual for the B210, and found that the correct the carburetor is the Hitachi Type DCH306. Thank you all for your help. Quote Link to comment
