datzenmike
Welcome to Ratsun. That's quite the restore as the '68 was the most unique 510 with one year only parts. You have your work cut out. Quote Link to comment
Draker
Do I see a rear side marker? Quote Link to comment

paradime
My first car was a 68 510. Funny how you make it sound like you own that car, when in reality it's the other way around. Serve her well. 1 Quote Link to comment

Alex_23
Seen that thread Dany..lol and I just posted that shiii on top ^^ ..ok I got it .. Quote Link to comment
Draker
Looks like this car is a 69 (hard to tell from the photos). The 69 and maybe 68 had a carb with a feed and return line. If you don't have this carb, just cap it off on both ends. Quote Link to comment

FunkyFresh520
http://community.ratsun.net/topic/15431-2-oil-dipsticks-on-an-l16-engine/ Thats exactly how it looks so maybe its a imported engine ? Quote Link to comment
hobbes_the_cat
Many L18's are JDM imports. Especially if it has a W53 head. If you ever pull the intake manifold check for notches at the top of the intake runners, might even be a fuel injection head. 1 Quote Link to comment
Alex_23
Welcome to the party. Thank you! Did a tune up today. Spark plugs & wires, oil change .new fuel filter. Fuel lines We Got the datto to turn for a bit while adding gas to carb and pressing the gas. Noticed that we didn't see fuel coming up to the fuel filter..Maybe the hardlines are clogged?? Going to try tmrw and see if we can get fuel running throughout the car & then next up brakes..hopefully y'all can see my pics . think i was having issues uploading. Lmk if you guys can see them. Draker
Can see them. Blow air from the engine bay through the lines. Then listen for bubbles in the tank. Quote Link to comment
FunkyFresh520
Can see them. Blow air from the engine bay through the lines. Then listen for bubbles in the tank. what if theres junk in the lines and we end up pushing it in the tank? Instead of getting rid of it? Quote Link to comment
Draker
That is certainly a possibility. You can do the same from the tank side. Just not as easy. Quote Link to comment
