la_leo
I was definitely considering rhino lining in place of carpets, even the do it yourself kit. 1 Quote Link to comment
Draker
The steering wheel alone is worth about $100. It doesn't look like it's in all that bad of shape really.. The rear drums are probably just stuck from sitting. 1 Quote Link to comment

Lockleaf
If it's the ST steering wheel, I will trade you a good 720 steering wheel for that, even if it's down to the metal. Pm me if you're interested. 1 Quote Link to comment

720inOlyWa
This is a totally savable, worthwhile 720 truck. Fix it. Save it. Wayno is right: the brake cables are rusty and stuck. I had a 620 with this problem and I just never used the parking brake. Once you get it unstuck, use it often to keep it working. Blue is not my favorite color because the interior looks shabby when blue get tired. But hell, that is one straight truck- enjoy it! 1 Quote Link to comment

Lockleaf
Sweet. I think she's worth a little time. I have a silver 86 with the power options like yours. I love these trucks. If you end up needing rear end parts, I have a spare axle as well. Pm that list we talked about and we will see about getting you on the road. 2 Quote Link to comment
la_leo
Appreciate that! !!!!! 1 Quote Link to comment
Rhino13
You should see some of the trucks people drive out here...that thing is nice!! 1 Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
Congrats. That truck has another 500,000 miles in with a little TLC. Be sure and check the frame over real good as I have seen them rusted out completely. Better safe than sorry. Nice find. If you end up deciding to part it out Dibs on the complete door panels with switches. Quote Link to comment
la_leo
I found the original receipts to the truck from 85. They undercoated the frame and it shows. Frame is solid. I'll touch it up from the surface rust though. I wish you could still buy a brand new loaded 4x4 for 12 grand! !!!! 1 Quote Link to comment
Draker
Power windows was fairly rare.. only available in late model 720's. ST package is what you want.. is it EFI? Honestly, probably the most desirable of 720's you have right there. It'll clean up.. if it's not rusted in half. 1 Quote Link to comment

The bed, front wheel well, and that spot under the hood is the only rust I found unless the floor pans are and I just can't tell 2 Quote Link to comment
la_leo
I BEAT THE CRAP out of the rear drums and used a whole can of penetrating fluid BUT I got them off. Shoes look great, no leaks on the wheel cylinders or from the axle seal. Excited to get it home! 1 Quote Link to comment
