d.p
Nah I'm straight. Also I've found that it's much easier for me to find relevant information when there is a thread on it so just doing my part for the greater good. 1 Quote Link to comment

d.p
Anyone know the thread/pitch for the PVC bung on the intake manifold? I deleted all that crap and want to plug that hole with a bolt but I assume its NPT (say that because fastenal couldn't match it) but no idea what size. Quote Link to comment
Crashtd420
If no one answers I can figure it out when I get home.... I have a pvc valve on my shelf..... 1 Quote Link to comment
Crashtd420
And if it's like some of the other fittings it's probably a 1/4 bspp thread.... British standard pipe thread Editing this to "bspt" There is a difference.... Bspp is straight Bspt is tapered 1 Quote Link to comment
DanielC
I believe it is a 1/4 BSP. British Standard Pipe. 1 Quote Link to comment

I would keep it.... hook the pcv directly to the crank case vent.... 1 Quote Link to comment
d.p
Wait are you removing the pcv? I would keep it.... hook the pcv directly to the crank case vent.... Might have described it wrong. Looking for the thread size of the bung on the right side of these manifolds. TVV? Not sure what its called. 1 Quote Link to comment
Crashtd420
The one on top? That's 1/8 And again probably bspt.... 1 Quote Link to comment
d.p
The one on top? That's 1/8 And again probably bspp.... Yeah the one with the long tube sticking out on the right. I would take a picture of mine but too lazy. 1 Quote Link to comment
Crashtd420
Actually I just zoomed in and it might be 1/4.... I had 1/8 in my head because I was just looking at the same thing last night on my side draft intake.... 1 Quote Link to comment
Crashtd420
Probably cheapest and easiest to order online.... You could re tap with a 1/4 npt ... And get an npt plug... now your talking more money.. and you would want to take the intake of to do it... so no metal chips get inside.... 1 Quote Link to comment
wayno
I use that one for power brakes, just put caps on the ends. 1 Quote Link to comment
d.p
So a 1/4" one of these should work? https://www.discounthydraulichose.com/9030_BSPP_Hex_Head_Plug_p/9030.htm 1 Quote Link to comment
racerx
You can't plug it with vacuum plugs? Those are available at auto parts store. 1 Quote Link to comment
d.p
I can and did but I am OCD (not really) and don't like that look. Quote Link to comment

d.p
Ordered 1/4” BPST... hopefully it will work. Anyone switched from spiral choke to a single wire one? Or just replaced OEM one? Mine has been acting up and every time I try and fix it it frays and I have to fight it to get it back on my Weber. Now it’s tight to pull and clicks when I push it in. Wondering what my options are? 1 Quote Link to comment
d.p
Well 1/4” BPST fit the bill to plug that hole on the intake manifold. 1 Quote Link to comment
Crashtd420
Well after the whole bspp vs bspt I was hoping we got it right.... 1 Quote Link to comment
d.p
Another day another problem to fix....intake manifold vacuum leak. For fucks sake its never ending with this thing. Click the link or the picture to see the video. https://flic.kr/p/Gp3G2a 1 Quote Link to comment
wayno
Maybe I don't hear so good but my RPMs jump around that much just idling. When spraying flammable materials around looking for vacuum leaks the engine should noticeably jump up in RPM without a tach to look at, I really didn't hear a noticeable jump in RPMs, are you having a noticeable issue with the engine? 1 Quote Link to comment
