I stepped in because I wondered who was leaving. I hate discussing politics. I think they often bring out the ugliest in people. So I have never read cuz America. I have repeatedly taken days off from insomniacs and daily randomness to avoid it all.

 

So I don't really understand what politics has to do with ratsun. If you don't talk about politics here, no one mentions politics. My build threads are competely trump and Hillary free. I get needing a break from politics. I just don't know what that has to do with telling us about your datsuns.

Does having a non American opinion count for anything? you know looking in from the outside? Let me preface the following by saying I don't do social media at ALL. (unless you call Ratsun social media, that's about it) I watch about 10 min of the news daily but with a jaundiced eye. After six decades, it's harder to slip bullshit by me. 
 
I don't like Trump one bit, but see him as the lesser of two evils. I see a country that voted for a change and those that didn't support him, bitter.... or is it more media hype? I see a president elect that won in spite of the public being told repeatedly that the other 'guy' was winning overwhelmingly. More media bullshit. Everything we take in is fed to us through the media and it, I'm afraid, is very suspect. I see a country who prides itself on the democratic process but now not willing to follow their own agreed upon rules? How does this make any sense? I see school kids fighting, yet they fought long before this over equally stupid things. They're teenagers and easily swayed in their immature thinking. Blacks and Mexican immigrants have been the target of intolerance long before now, this is not new. If they are illegally in your home who wouldn't be angry? If you expect or look for the bad in people you will find it. It's ugly but it's not new.

If you don't like political discussion the correct thing it to not click on Cuz.  (or maybe not Insomniacs or DR) What does politics have to do with Ratsun? Nothing much really.... but Ratsun has something to do with politics. We have a post that enjoys spirited political discussion just as we have an Insomniacs for dumping just about everything else that isn't appropriate or doesn't really fit anywhere else. Both are just outlets that (funny enough) are anti PC.
