The reason I'm leaving Ratsun for a while.

So here you go, this is the pm I sent to Mike earlier this morning:

I have to say, I've reached my saturation point with Trump.  Even posted on facebook today I'm taking a break and the level of hate rhetoric that's becoming common place already in Trump's America is just staggering.  And people keep defending him.  I gave him the benefit of the doubt more than once; no more.  Every time I turn around he's embracing something I don't like.  Or someone.  All attempts at reason are a "plot of the democrats" to try and destroy him.  We have now entered the 30s again, where people just don't like anyone other than white bread conservatives.  Perhaps we're heading to the 20s.  I don't know.  All I do know is, I'm tired of it, so I'm withdrawing, much like Keith did.  Going to give Ratsun a break for a while and try and focus on things other than the attitudes of tons of people I can't agree with, or change their minds.

Threads like "Cuz Merica" would seem to be cathartic, but instead, in my opinion, serve to foster hate and resentment.  It's a constant reminder of everyone feeding into bigoted hate, regardless of what side you voted for.  I keep seeing the darker side of people these days.  Even those I work with.  It seems "Build the wall!" surpassed "No man is an island." a long time ago.  And the electing of people who likely hold white power views?  Amazing.  In the age of tolerance and enlightenment, we've gone back to the beginnings of our country.

I fully expect immigrants, legal or not, to be lynched and beaten on a daily basis if this continues.  I thought we were better than that.  But everything I keep seeing, the number of people who defend those who stand for racial inequality, I keep thinking I'm the one who's gone too far.  But no, it's everyone else.  When you get mindless chanting of grade school kids suggesting immigrants should stay out of America, that's not them, that's their parents.

When I grew up, my parents told me I could do anything or be anything I wanted.  They told me how America was a melting pot and immigrants came from all over to help shape our brave new world, free of tyranny and oppression.  You know what I see now?  I see people saying "Thank god we got that nigger out of office.  All those fucking mexicans can get the fuck out."  I've heard that in my small town NAPA.  I've seen in it people's faces.  And more and more people seem to have that viewpoint.  I don't get it.  I don't understand how we've slipped this far as a country, to the point of not caring about dreams and hopes, to not caring about anyone other than our white selves.

At the moment, I'm out of steam.  I called in and took a half day.  I'm starting a fire in the garage and listening to early Pink Floyd while I finish tearing the head off the wagon to find out what went wrong.  Sorry there won't be any oics.  I hope we get back to civil understanding here and elsewhere.  Until then, I'm out.  Keith says hi.

Oh and the reason i liked your post is because its full of hypocrisy, for example the part where you played the tolerance card, 0 tolerance coming from you, face it, you can't tolerate the facts about your beloved Hillary and collusion pointed out by factual evidence out there exposing the truth, calling anti Hillary crowd bigots is also another example of hypocrisy since it's the agitators sent by Soros that are the actual bigots assaulting Trump supporters.

It trully is very sad you're blind to the facts, then again i can't blame you nor the likes of you since you've been brain washed by the propaganda machine, you're just weak and fell for it, sad part is that you turned a blind eye to the truth, thats all.

You know, I'm not well known around here, so my opinions might not carry much weight... However, KoHearts, you just played the into the very reason HRH is taking off. Why? Whay can't we focus on the cars? Don't worry, I'm not that concerned...

Also, I don't think it matters which side you're on, sources are never a bad idea.

Nobody is obligated to read a thread they don't agree with, thats called choices, im not going to post sources here, you want some?, go to that thread, i also find it ironic that i was told by many including Keith that i would have to be thick skinned to hang out here.

I believe there's people out there doing these things to illegal immigrants and such. And probably alot of white supremacy people voted for Trump. But not everyone is or for that. And Of course your going to see all the hate. The liberal media loves to spread it. The same media that tell us that their just protest, but really are riots.

People need to remember that Trump just became a "" Republican 2 years ago. People are scared that everything that Obama has done or created will disappear. That actually wrong, most of it anyways. And one last thing, hate, racism, etc has been here since they creation of time. And it will be here until the end.

HRH, take care keep wrenching. That's all that Ratsun is really. The Forum is just the coffee machine where folks like to hang out for a few to chat. Sometimes that co-worker is there running his mouth that you just wish would leave. And the best thing is to just go back to work till they get fired.

Klan Of Hate, you just shone your asshole all over this farewell thread. Weak.

Martin Niemöller (1892–1984) was a prominent Protestant pastor who emerged as an outspoken public foe of Adolf Hitler and spent the last seven years of Nazi rule in concentration camps.  Niemöller is perhaps best remembered for the quotation:

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

It starts in small doses.  Not politically confused, aware of the hate brewing.  I can physically smell it in people.  Hate mixed with fear.  Has nothing to do with left or right, has everything to do with people making the wrong choices and/or being right for the wrong reasons.

Not a farewell, he's taking a break, he went out swinging for the fences putting people that didn't support Hillary as KKK loving racist bigots, when you swing for the fences, you have to expect the out fielder to run after that ball and try to catch it to make an out....no free passes.

Actually, I'm normally a Republican and I hunt and I have a lot of guns.  Funny, huh?

Trey Gowdy would not accept that answer.

But no hard feelings, you're always welcome here

Take care

Do Ratsuners always bitch this much when things don't go their way? For fucks sake man, if you don't want to see the political stuff on the internet THEN DONT READ THE POLITICAL STUFF ON THE INTERNET.

Get educated about actual fact not internet hearsay bullshit you read on CNN or Facebook, for your own opinions on the facts not just stepping behind someone else's.

I'd play my tiny violin for you but I lost it.
