a15egi
Hi guys, a14/a15 came with carburetor and efi. ga16 also carburetor and efi. So, can i adopt GA16DE wiring and ecu to make my a14e/a15e work? 1 Quote Link to comment
Draker
a15 maybe, a14 might be too rich. Although, if you can adjust the air meter.. you might be able to lean it out a bit. 1 Quote Link to comment
a15egi
stand alone ecu will be the better choice? 1 Quote Link to comment
Draker
I can't say for sure. I don't have much experience with these specific EFI setups. But what I can say is some of the fair meters are adjustable. Which gives you the ability to lean out the mixture a bit if being used on a smaller displacement engine. Something along these lines: http://atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/afm/ 1 Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
Ga engines came fuel injected in 1.4 and 1.5 liter. If ga16 is common where you are, you could set it up on that stuff and then swap out the ecu for the smaller motor version if you wanted/needed to. I would just about guarantee that if the ecus are the same age, they will use the same connectors, so it would plug right in. 1 Quote Link to comment
