clack clack clack

i have 280zx front brake and strut setup and my right caliper has movement in it even when its bolted nice and tight to the strut. while i drive it rattles around going "clack clack clack etc..." has anyone possibly encountered the same problem if so what is it and whats the remedy to fix it?

do you have your rattle clips in and did you grease the bolts that go from the mount to the caliper and are the rubber pieces that go between the caliper and the mount in good shape

no rattle clips never had them when i got the car. sounds kinda dumb but i got some from the junkyard and dont know how to put them in or where which one goes. but the rubber dust boots on the sliding part of the caliper look fine but that is where the majority of the movement/play is coming from. what would that be/mean?
