how close is chevy orange compared to datsun orange

chevy orange is way differant, our dupont store out here will mix up a qrt of paint and put it in spray cans, they charge about 20.00 but i usually get 2 cans, it is the centari enamal, but works great and they color match pretty good, so if u have a dupont store close by ck them out.:D

Well, with all photography, there is a color shift compared to real life. You also you need to pay attention to how polished the paint is because then it will reflect the colors around it.

After googling photos of "datsun orange," "mopar Orange," and "Chevy Orange." It looks like datsun orange is a bit paler.

you also have to take into account lighting with the pics presented i would say chevy orange but the lighting is different fromt he other pics so it could be a tric of the light

 

This is true. For any accurate comparison that would be even remotely close to meaningful, both samples must be viewed under the same light conditions. The industry standard is a 5000 degree Kelvin light source which is the equivalent of noon day sunlight.
