My new Hardbody - 1995 Nissan Hardbody King Cab 4X4

Recommended Posts

I just scored this Hardbody truck last night. I've been looking for one on and off for a while now. This one popped up on CL and I had to get it.

It runs great. It has been well cared for. Overall, it is very clean.

That is what I want for a daily. Nice looking truck.

Have the belts been done recently?

I don't plan to daily this but it will do duty for towing our camper, towing orphan cars home and other truck type chores. Chores my current RWD 95 KA powered hardbody has been doing.

Changing the timing belt is first up on the list of maintenance items for this truck.

So I took the new truck for a short drive today.

I'm really liking it. It drives well and the V6 has a good bit more power and torque than the KA. At least from the butt dyno. And it's so nice to sit up high and see over traffic.

I am very much attached to my other Hardbody truck. My daughter named it Tony. It has been such a great truck and has always been so reliable. I'm not sure I am ready to part with it so for now I'm going to hang onto it. Tony can be a yard truck until I feel I can let it go.

This picture is from almost 5 years ago when I got it. He is a bit more weathered now.
