Window felts

Who has replaced their window track felts and what donor did you use or did you find aftermarket stuff?

My local glass shop is quoting me $120-150 for 2 8' pieces. At that price I'd rather hit an auto wrecker BUT the closed pick and pull is over 2hours away

eBay. But you will pay over $100 for anything worth having. Any 510 at the wrecker with original felt will be in bad shape almost for sure. I'm shopping right now as well. eBay has stuff from Asia. Or you can buy stuff from west coast Datsun shops that's made in Asia. Or I hear rumors of people finding OEM at Nissan dealers. There are threads on this topic if you search.

Mygrant Glass AS 1198 96 window run channel fits Datsun 521.

I paid $25.00 for each piece, from my glass guy.

Find another local glass shop.

Just called one of my suppliers (I'm a partsman/purchaser) and they deal with C.R. Laurence of Canada and actually have an order coming in soon so I can piggyback my parts. He's gonna get back to me with cost.

The cheap Thailand stuff off eBay works fine. Should be about $45 shipped

One of my local glass shops. I have to pay freight on top but that's ok. Probably end up running me about $40/each

I went to a glass shop, and they sold me some off the shelf and it worked perfectly. I just had to trim it up to fit.
