Kenmataya
Is the washer bottle the same as the 240? Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
Is the washer bottle the same as the 240? Not exactly, but if you are willing to go through the "search" sufferanche there is an exact physical windshield washer receptical and washer power squirter motor available from a current manufurcuter. No! I am too sleepy to get the exact reference! You are a big boy or girl, so do it yourself! "Self" is your friend! Im going to bed now. Quote Link to comment

Kenmataya
There's a v-shaped bracket on the firewall that the tank slots into - the back of the tank needs a t-shaped rib to fit into it. I think the 240 has the same style? Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
I think yours has been replaced sometime in the past. The 411 has a bag stock. Quote Link to comment
Kenmataya
possibly, but there is a bracket riveted to the firewall that looks like it accepts this: Quote Link to comment
tr8er
http://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/262439295501 Remove the bracket and buy one that comes with the bracket. Install right over it. Quote Link to comment

]2eDeYe
Stock bag looks identical to this one but it is white and doesn't say fomoco. Quote Link to comment
Kenmataya
these images would indicate otherwise: Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
Well mine looks like that one  Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
Stock bag looks identical to this one but it is white and doesn't say fomoco. "Rag Bag" PL411 version, albeit with FORD blaison! Search within "Body" for an exact 411 replacement unit, no, I am too lazy to do your search function for you, my unit fits just fine! Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
Mine is in an RL? Quote Link to comment
Kenmataya
i would like to say this thread has been helpful.... Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
Mine is in an RL? Yes, the firewall mounted unit, not the PL411 fender mounted rag bag, so I have no incentive to search for a unit that I will never use, but happy hunting. I really think that you have the firewall mounted container like in the 11June posting. BTW, the second photo is of a JDM Right hand drive vehicle. Note the steering gear and shaft on the vehicle right hand side. Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
I saw 2 other configurations at Canby, charging my phone to take pics tomorrow. Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
Well mine looks like that one  I don't think this is correct... Still have to upload the pics I got at Canby of the other 2 bays but one had no reservoir and the other had an big one on the drivers inner fender... Quote Link to comment

Still have to upload the pics I got at Canby of the other 2 bays but one had no reservoir and the other had an big one on the drivers inner fender... Right! Not correct. The solid plastic washer recepticle goes into the metal bracket. Thw rag bag is a fender mounted unit and has its own sheet metal bracket on the left front inner fender. About 2 years ago there was a posting in the body section [as I recall] of an after market solid plastic washer receptical that was an exact match, down to the grooved back that fit into the factory firewall bracket. Maybe a creative SEARCH in body on windshield washer is due? Happy hunting! 1 Quote Link to comment
Kenmataya
yes, that is the receptacle for the 240 style washer reservoir. 1 Quote Link to comment
