Finally Welded this thing up! My new job has kept me busy these last few months..But added wastegate flange to collector AND the external wastegate clears. This whole manifold suprisinly is able to clear everthing...which was my goal. Anwyays here ye go...

As you can see before I almost gave up on this project a few weeks ago, I was so pissed my machine could not make a bead with the bad settings I had it on. I got so mad and went crazy lol....shitted all over the manifold with the trigger and threw it on the floor after haha. Then continued the Friday after

Grinded all the welds and my anger off of it... for like 2 hours:/ Finished it today

So close to getting my ZX struts done. Just need to buy fresh calipers and pick up MR2 inserts.

Also need to shorten my strut..

I've accumulated all these parts in the past 2 months (suspension stuff was this week :)

and making room

Side project to fit 15x9 0 offset in the rear. In the middle of cuting and welding the inside of wheel well and lip to make room :)

I just need to decide which ebay rims I want and buy the first single wheel... at a time. Front will be 15x8 0 offset

I suggest making a support mount for that manifold, there looks to be a fair weight to it, and once you add a turbo and wastegate as well, and that far from the cylinder head, plus only using M8 studs in the head, making a support from the block to the flange would be worthwhile to help prevent cracking or more likely, exhaust gasket leaks.

Solid selection of parts you have accumulated. Looking good

That turbocharger looks huge, how did you decide that this turbocharger was the right size for a 1600cc engine, or has this already been discussed?

I am using a 1600cc gasser turbocharger on my 2500cc Nissan SD series diesel engine, and it is significantly smaller than the one you are using.

The only place oil can leak form the head is directly above the pressure sender. Anything else is the valve cover gasket, the timing chain inspection cover at the front and the fuel pump . It should have pump, gasket, plastic spacer, gasket, head. Also on the pump is a pivot pin for the arm inside... they sometimes weep oil. Clean and put a dab of RTV on to cover.
