Langheck
Putting a 1600 Roadster back together, and one issue we've come across is that the fuel tank straps that suspend the tank in place are pretty worn out. Wasn't sure if replacements were obtainable, or if it were more worth coming up with a repair or fabrication solution? Any feedback or advice would be much appreciated! Quote Link to comment
Rick-rat
If you can find some thin strips of steel, you can probably make them yourself I have used plumbers tape, but that would not be the "correct" fix 1 Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
Hardware stores sell perforated galvanized steel tape, Holes at about one inch on center to the strap.Wrap, cut overlength, bend the ends, bolt. It's galvanized, use the right bolt and nut and no corrosion problems. And RATSUN cheap! 1 Quote Link to comment
