:)Thought about the 4.3 but I was scared that ifI did all that work that it still would not be fast enough... now Im scared its too fast with a 350 and 4spd the few times I have drove it, if your skilled enough to keep it straight in 1st, and man enough to stand on her in 2nd, then its one fun ride.

OK, I think that My dually project has that in it. I purchased at a Phoenix junkyard a kingcab frame with a Chevy V6 that was already installed in the kingcab. They could NOT sell Me the whole truck, so after 4 hours of Me unbolting and disconnecting everything, they removed the bed and cab and I got what was left. It was starting to rain that day so I took LOTS of trash bags and rolls of electrical tape to encapsilate the engine. This frame was cut and welded to the frame of a longbed accurately for the fourdoor cab to be placed on. The cab sat right over the transmission and motor just as it had with the kingcab's cab. So I know it fits. Now................. You guys know that I am NOT a motorhead but I asked a few guys who told Me they "thought" it is a 4.3 because the sparkplugs are STRAIGHT out from the heads. I was told that this is the best way to tell and that smaller V6 engines have the sparkplugs at an angle , not straight. I hope that description helps. As the project is still at the body shop (15 months now) I cann't photograph it or anything, only give You that description. Do I indeed have a 4.3???
