Busta Nut
Gas is cheating....... ......unless using it to cook fish cuz you don't wanna stink up the house..... 2 Quote Link to comment
KoHeartsGPA
I love coals with a pinch of oak in the mix  Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
I'd rather have coal. But three kids yelling about how hungry they are...Gas wins this round. 1 Quote Link to comment
tr8er
Gas is for daily use. Charcoal is for weekends. At my house at least. We barbecue at minimum twice a week. At times 5 or 6. My dad raised me well. We didn't even have an oven most of my life. My dad perfected the BBQ birthday cake. (Dutch oven). I've never had better. That's a pretty bbq flatcat. Looks like it needs to get dirty. (Soak some mesquite or other wood overnight in water. Wrap in foil. Put in gas grill while you cook. Ends up giving a better taste than coal in my opinion. But not what some crave in that Classic bbq taste only coal delivers). Quote Link to comment
Busta Nut
Gas for the kids......hot dogs and burgers..... ........coals for the MEAT!! 1 Quote Link to comment
HRH
I may have to bail on Sunday Keith. Not because my tire is flat, but because I only have 4 weekends until the first autocross event, and Betty White doesn't have a motor in her yet. Or a wiring harness. Or a transmission. I think I may be forced into the garage and getting a shitload done in a hurry. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Wrong. You need to be here. Don't let Eastern Washington's Datsun boys down. 1 Quote Link to comment
HRH
What time is it? If I can get the motor at least together and in the car, I have to drop off the transmission for rebuilding on Monday. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
All day. Food by 11:30. Maybe cruise at 4ish. Quote Link to comment
HRH
Alright, I'll try to make it. It depends on if I'm still arm deep in Betty White. ;) That sounded a little interesting, didn't it? 2 Quote Link to comment
KoHeartsGPA
If you guys do a cruise around 4-5 I may get lucky and see you boys...I'm leaving Eugene around 11am headed to Spokane....I should be driving through the tri cities around 4:45pm.... Quote Link to comment
