If it's stuck while the engine is not running, you could have some problem with your shift rods inside the tailshaft of your transmission, or a broken roll pin at a shift fork. Quote Link to comment

datzenmike Posted January 14, 2016 Report Share Posted January 14, 2016 I had the (more or less same F4W63 used in the PL510 and the early 620) stuck in 4th gear 50 miles from home. Good news is you can drain and unbolt the oil pan on the bottom and take a look up in there. Quote Link to comment
