DanB
I am very new to this forum, so HI all. I have a 1992 Nissan C22 A15s bus which has a very large flat spot on accerlation from idle. I have inspected my advance retard unit and i can blow and suck straight through it with no effort at all. So I am guessing the diaphragm has worn, I have contacted Nissan and they have told me there are two units available for this hitachi distributor. I am guessing that the differences between the two are either the spring rate or the direction of travel on the rod to the points base plate. Did they do a clockwise and counter clockwise dizzy? Both units look identical but i am wondering which one to go for as they are not cheap! Any help or advice would be gratefully received! Dan. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Probably the difference between manual and automatic. What is the engine again? Welcome to Ratsun, Dan Quote Link to comment
