79 510 Wagon Project

I bought this 1979 510 Wagon of a kid in Ca.  He completely removed most of the dash. I'm looking for anyone who know where I can get a used dash or aftermarket replacement parts.. I don't car what shape but i need some where to start. I not trying to build  show car, but I wanted to check out my options before building a complete aluminum dash. Any help would be a great.

Hi Jerry and welcome to Ratsun.

 

As there was an original 510 '68-'73 often called a PL510 or dime and yours is a later 510 or HL510 It's better if you call it by it's real 'name' the A10. This is the nomenclature used by Japan and it is stamped into the cowl just above and behind the valve cover. Calling it the A10 or HL510 will identify it to everyone here and prevent miscommunication and references to the original PL510. There are a lot of differences between the 510 and the later A10s.

There were some folks up in WA that picked up a few A10's for parts recently. Post in the classifieds and I bet you'll find something.

Any pics? All of the later version 80+ came with a factory tach gauge cluster, only a few 78-79s have tachs. Is this an auto or standard?

Thanks for the info. I will call it by A10 for now on. 

It does not have the tach in the cluster.
