I notice he was driving a Honda Accord so I didnt put to much weight in what he said.

In the end these get put off on the side of the house as they not practicle to drive. Get HOT ect......

But I will see if you finnish.

Then 3 yrs from now it will be on Ebay(to fund the next project)

A nissan KA motor woud be more practicle but havent seen to many of them finnished either(most are projects in the Sale section)

Now just curious do you actually know someone who has done this build and can provide insight whether these allegations are true? I don't keep vehicles forever and will eventually sell it but certainly not before I finish it and slay some tires

As far as I know, there is quite a bit more to a V8 swap than cutting the fire wall and wiring lights. Can you fill us in on the motor mounts, transmission mounts, drive shaft, steering, suspension upgrades, breaks, exhaust, etc.

The 10" rear drums are plenty good enough except for the obvious drawbacks, like keeping them adjusted. I won't mention brake fade as I don't expect you will be canyon carving or driving hard enough or long enough to require rear discs.

Fronts do not have any bolt in discs and calipers but there are conversion kits made by members here.

Type  disc brakes for 521 or 521 disc brakes or disc break conversion for 521 into our search and start reading.
