bananahamuck
you need photobucket or the like type account to store your pics. http://community.ratsun.net/topic/691-how-to-post-pictures-and-keep-online-photo-albums/ To get this . If you right click your Facebook pic ,,then select copy image location ,, then click that geen square ^^ up there under the smiley face and "A" then paste in box it will also work (instant gratification) but i think those pictures don't last very long,,, which sucks if someone came here a couple years from now,, there wouldn't be any pics for them to see. Bkplunk64
Took me a bit long to get around to because of work but I know how to do it now and I plan on keeping it up dated. I exploring the idea of doing the 5 speed swap, any ideas on this maybe price? Quote Link to comment
TENDRIL
if you can find a a motor 5 speed, should be fairly simple. but..... they are few and far between and fetch a pretty penny. loving this car Quote Link to comment
bananahamuck
You have to have an "A" motor to run an A motor tranny though.. And just those trannys alone go for something like $600. sooooo there's that. There is no 5speed option for the J13,,,,,, yet .. Don't let those 521 guys talk you outta that dash either,,, or make them pay through the ass to get it from you. Quote Link to comment
Bkplunk64
No it was a though, if that's the case once the engine sees it's last days I could just do the ka swap and go that route. But until then I will do my best to keep her going strong. Quote Link to comment
Bkplunk64
Not planning on parting it out, the only thing I have taken off is the wiper motor to clean but found out that a piece was broken in the arm assembly, looked to be a brittle copper ot bronze notched washer type piece. May be on the market for a new motor Quote Link to comment
bananahamuck
Oh i was just correcting Ray .... Is this the car that was for sale in craigslist a few months ago?? Quote Link to comment
Bkplunk64
Up in Kent, washington if so then yes, it was sold in Alburn and live in Kent since 67, the guy that owned it passes away 2 years ago (2nd one I think) and I found it through the wife's grandson that I work with. I got it not working, simple cleaned the gas tank, added an electric fuel pump, and battery and she ran. 1 Quote Link to comment
