Using the search function, I typed 720 springs onto a 620 and got this.... http://community.ratsun.net/topic/57051-dawas-720-leaf-springs-into-620-swap/ It took me three times longer longer to write this post. Don't be lazy... try it yourself. This swap is well documented and there are more answers.

Just so you know ... you can go back and edit your old posts. For editing the title, (usually sp. mistakes) select Full Editor.

Looks nice. The 4x4 are firmer so less chance of bottoming and the lower center of gravity will enhance handling and braking.

Dayum...Now I dunno what color I wanna paint my truck. THANKS!...

I wanted to go all out on pearls and stuff but dont wanna mess up my FIRST paint job.

Deciding between stock green, red, orange, black, grey, white or even that Taiwanese light blue truck on the internet...

With the last picture you can almost guess a hint of dark blue paint.

from the '84 FSM

2wd.... two curved 7mm thick, one flat and 13mm thick.

4wd.... two curved one 7mm one 8mm thick and flat one 12mm thick

The big difference is the free camber. Hold a string through the center of the bolt holes and measure down to the top of the leaf.....

2wd is 6.34"

4wd is 3.68 ..... much flatter

Spring rate (stiffness, load carrying)

2wd....... 310 pounds per inch

4wd....... 548 pounds per inch
