bonvo
well this is happening placing the order monday now i need to decide what carb to run holley? edelbrock? demon? any input would be great https://www.summitracing.com/parts/edl-2022 im considering this demon carb but not 100% sure yet https://www.summitracing.com/parts/dem-1900/overview/ 1 Quote Link to comment
petercscherer
I've had great experiences with Demon carbs, it's all Holley style components, but has a modern and sleek look. Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
Good to see good things happening  Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
Edelbrock is great for ease of tune. Holley and Demon give more versatility to dial in a perfect tune but require more work and knowledge to get it there so it's more common that people have engines that don't run right on them. q-tip
Edelbrock, less seems to go wrong, I've had to rebuild too many Holley carbs that were just rebuilt.....Damn power valve... Quote Link to comment
I'm BLUE
Demon......, !!!!! !!!! Hands down......... but select the right demon that matches your components. 1 Quote Link to comment
bonvo
The top end kit calls for 600-650 cfm the demon at 625 is right in the middle of that range i need a carb that will fire as quickly as possible so i can break in the cam Quote Link to comment
q-tip
There is always the good ol quadrajet, but you have to find one of the 15 people that knows how to tune them right. 1 Quote Link to comment

bonvo
after pricing out parts and machine work o was looking at another 2400 for a rebuild i decided to check summit again and found a short block that used the exact parts i wanted for 1300 so an order was placed and the old block wrapped up for a later build while i waited on the new short block to show up i bed lined the engine bay and made a harness for my extra lights 2 Quote Link to comment
