I for one, and anyone else that enjoys going, would like to be re assured that there even IS a show this summer and have time for preparation. I didn't open it so that people could bitch about last years show, people, politics or events that happened afterwards. If you want to 'join in because you missed out' you take your chances. This is one positive event in an otherwise average life and I look forward to it intensely. This is MY holiday for the year and I get to do the few things I enjoy most...driving my Datsun, meeting friends and other Datsun owners and being by myself on a long road trip. Surely all goers enjoy at least one of those reasons? Last year I got to meet Mike, among many other Ratsun members. On the last day Mike and I sat down with an atlas to plan his route back to Canada. It made me think about the trip he was taking and how beautiful of a drive he was about to take. Mike slipped out of the fairgrounds quietly. I was jealous instantly. I wanted to take THAT drive. Since that was my first trip to Canby, I had no idea what I was missing. I do not want to miss another. And I want to make a voyage out of it next time. Mike, I'm following you out of there next year. Let's keep this thread fresh and fun. Drama happenened last year. Yes.
