edekalil
Koa bed strips Hawaiian!! I could help make that happen. That would look way cool. But I would rather make a nice acoustic guitar out of it. My Koa is staying right in the dry room. 1 Quote Link to comment

tr8er
Some Koa is not quite good enough for a guitar. Good enough for Tanker though. Hehe. 1 Quote Link to comment

Sprayed another last coat to check any places I might have missed and it layed down not as glossy today. Oh well its done and going back together. 4 Quote Link to comment

Mark I missed a few small areas so I mixed the paint again the same way and re sprayed and it did not lay the same. Joe was telling me the single stage Linco paint is not that great. But it's done and it still looks way better than what was. How you doing. Fine I hope. Quote Link to comment

mrbigtanker
Thanks all you Hawaiian's. Just need one Koa wood grill lol Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
If you do a wood bed in your truck, you should get a cnc or carved koa wood grille for it. CNC it to be identical to stock, just made of wood. And/or put wood in the cargo area of the wagon and get an oe shaped wood grill for it. Also cool, make wood roof rack instead of metal. You gonna rep Hawaiian, do it hard :) 1 Quote Link to comment

I keep checking the thickness of the paint between coats, and usually add a tiny bit of reducer between coats. (I'm no expert, though) How you doing. Fine I hope. I have a little party on Wednesday. I'm the guest of honor, and hope to be home by Saturday :) 3 Quote Link to comment
