Ranman72
took the car to the datsun club meeting and made there and back with no issues RANDY 6 MARVIN 4      when we got home I adjusted the hood latch and found that the end of the hood latch cable was hitting the hood release and keeping it slightly open so the hood would pop open every time we drove it, I think it is fixed now I also think the brakes still have a slight issue because the pedal still rises as you drive it, the brakes just dont bind up now so I looked at the push rod for the master cylinder and it seemed to be to tight so I ground the end a little thinner and it seems as though the pedal does not rise now sorry no pics 1 Quote Link to comment
Busta Nut
If you weren't drawing penises all the time maybe you'd get some work done.... 2 Quote Link to comment
510T
Work wheels look awesome on there, and so does the trailer! Keep up the winning streak Randy. 2 Quote Link to comment
datsunrides
Just some inspiration. I also added a hitch to my roadster to tow a small trailer. Just a universal 2" tube receiver I got from etrailer.com. Had to shorten it a bit and drill new holes, but it fit pretty good. You do have to notch the lip on the frame a bit and add some 1/4" spacers for a snug fit. Only have to remove the bumper to install. Mark 2 Quote Link to comment

Mark I am planning something similar , but planned on welding the receiver and plate directly to the frame your install looks very clean and mine should look very much the same the top of my hitch when installed will be just behind the rear bumper Quote Link to comment

Dolomite
Congrats on the 2nd place, Randy. Maybe Marvin was too much diamond, not enough rough for first. He is coming along nicely. 1 Quote Link to comment
