Bleach Posted September 25, 2008 Report Share Posted September 25, 2008 There may be a way to use the gearbox portion. Icehouse used a 1982 280zx gearbox, Z22 bellhousing, and bolted that to a SOHC Hardbody KA24e. I think he said the 240SX KA has a slightly different bellhousing bolt pattern. If that is correct then you can do the same swap but only if you use the truck version of the DOHC. Frontier engine. Otherwise, get a KA 5-speed. Quote Link to comment
