DanielC Posted May 11, 2015 Report Share Posted May 11, 2015 No spark is more likely bad points. Check for power on the positive side of the coil. You should have power, using a test light. If you do, check for power on the negative side of the coil. The points just ground the coil. if the points are closed, the test light on the negative side of the coil should not light up. But when the points are open, the test light on the negative side of the coil should come on. 2 Quote Link to comment
