Farmer Joe
gonna be making a set of coilovers for our 411. datsun parts LLC is selling a coilover kit for the 210 struts i have. they are 200lb springs. soo, whats some input on spring rates on the front of datsun cars? 200lbs gonna be too stiff, or just right? it will have an L engine and trans as a side note. and probably no sway bar. thanks for the advice. INDY510
anything stiffer than #200 apparently requires WAY more expensive shocks .. If I didn't want to be super low I would have gone with #200 springs on my 510. My #225's are almost too stiff for bumpy roads, and that's with $375 adjustable KONI yellow shocks. A 411 is probably lighter than a 510, so #200 should be perfect. And you can use some $100 shocks with #200 springs. 1 Quote Link to comment
Farmer Joe
would the 200lb rate work with the stock 210 strut insert? with how small the car it, im wanting to build a set of really short struts using some mr2 or mk2 inserts so i dont end up with gaudy strut towers under the hood.
