carterb
That place caught my eye coming home from Depot Bay last year. The owner (?) has a website: http://bluebirdstation.weebly.com/ Looks like she is an artsy-fartsy type. I thought about contacting her to see if she'd be interested in doing a painting of my car in front of her place pretty much just like you shot in your photograph. --carter 3 Quote Link to comment
the510keeper
That sounds great Carter :) FauxBird back under the knife, While being as low as she has been we completely fucked the oil pan. But Chris Metal guy is the man and got tired of her leaking on his floor. 10g 8 Quote Link to comment
Draker
That will certainly help! 2 Quote Link to comment
shacks510
Make the pan and pickup shallower so it's above the crossmember. Adding a steel plate will only make it that much closer to the ground and make it buckle somewhere else. A little bit shallower wouldn't hurt unless you're thrashing it and starving the engine when the oil sloshes around. 2 Quote Link to comment

metalguy541
The engine has been raised from where it was before only occasionally hitting the ground from the looks of it... but the previous repair leaked, so that is what i fixed and added the skid plate just in case 4 Quote Link to comment

FrankenDime
The 2nd pic is the 1st test fit of the comp mount... it ended up getting changed some... but it bolts to the KA factory ac mount All put back together with the outer dash vents used for ac ducts, and a quicky fabbed center duct. Do you have a ka24? How much did the entire set up cost you? I am looking to do something similar with mine. 1 Quote Link to comment

carterb
looks really cool! What did you do for alignment settings? Are the inner mounts adjustable? Looks like I can see some bolts thru the crossmember to the front side? Quote Link to comment
