Recommended Posts

Did you ever have one of those days?  I mean like being beaten like a dead horse???

Well, it all started out having to pressure wash the heads for this Studebaker engine project today since it was the last "warm" day at a whopping 40 degrees.  So this is going to pretty cold since I'll be soaked from head to toe and tomorrow a cold wave is moving in.

So I got drag the pressure washer out of the shed

  • FLAT TIRE
  • Almost out of Gas

I hook up the water hose

  • HOSE COUPLING on PW IS SPRAYING WATER ALL OVER THE PLACE

I fire up the PW

and start spraying

  • NO HIGH PRESSURE - it comes and goes

Take a break, go into house, get some water, and

  • NO WATER PRESSURE AT THE SINK
  • FROST FREE WATER SPIGOT BURST and was FLOODING BASEMENT

Go to Home Depot and they want $25 for a Chinese one.

Call Lowes and guy says they're only $10-12

  • WILD GOOSE CHACE: Lowes is same price and the good one is $40

I say screw it, I'll run hose to the basement laundry tubs and weld repair the burst one.

Get everything rigged and running and start getting soaked...

  • WHEEL BARROW TIPS OVER AND HEADS GET STUCK IN MUD

Finish up spraying an go to PW only to find the

  • SOAP SUCTION HOSE CAME LOOSE and was shoot a 1/4" stream onto all the stuff on my back porch.
