Brake booster delete: Anybody done this?

More go power and less stop power seems like a bad idea to me but that's just my opinion.

Not really sure where you got the impression that I'm trying to decrease my braking power.. I had mentioned upgrading to ZX brakes front and back, as well as making a front mount turbo manifold in order to not have to sacrifice the brake booster or safety block. Thank you for your opinion, though.

Here is the one he is using, not that expensive either.

EDIT, I guess that link goes to the Australian ebay, :(  I will search it in the US version.

Make sure you read everything before buying.

Nothing on ebay over here, just units from Australia, but the good news is that it says it good for Datsuns. :)

Exactly, a remote power brake booster, I asked if it is a single or dual circuit, looks single to me, but it is being used on a dual reservoir master brake cylinder, so i am interested in how he piped it.

I found it in this thread, he says it is a dual circuit.

Yeah my bad I missed that part. I thought you just wanted to delete the booster for space.

Im in the same boat.  Ive contemplated a couple ideas.  I dont want to delete the booster.  It would be fine if I was the sole one driving it but my wife likes to drive the car as much as I do so pedal feel is important to keep easy.  Here is a couple ideas I have had and am still chewing on.

This is my favorite.  I know it works I made a wood block exactly the dimensions of this unit.  Only draw back with this unit is a single port design which eliminates the fail safe design of having brakes on front or rear if one decides to brake and leak.

Second choice is a dual port design with remote reservoirs.  Just a bit more cluttered look which is not ideal.  Im also not 100% sure on the 1" bore though I should have the system to support that soon.

Third design which is what I have already started on was to pull the existing master cylinder apart and weld aluminum caps on the reservoirs.  Then drill and tap them for an 1/8" npt fitting with a barbed end.  I would then have to source out a remote reservoir with 2 barbed fittings.  Or go to -3an fittings on both ends.
