blackbomber
Hey guys... the choke wont open on the truck...stays closed all the time..I need to manually adjust it for now to stay open so I can run it back through the emission test... the truck is running over twice the limit on mixture....running too rich..i got the high altitude compensator working again, so that should help...the little device I made to hold the flap open on the choke is blocking too much air....if this doesn't work I may have to look at carberator, so how do I keep the choke flap open???? thanks,,,, black bomber Link to comment
Jack1950
If you have the stock carb (electric) you loosen the three screws on the chock heater cover and rotate it in the lean direction (marked on cover). Mark sure your electric chock wire is plugged in and getting power. Link to comment
datzenmike
You already have two posts about your carb and this one about the choke. Open it back up and ask on it. http://community.ratsun.net/topic/64603-84-720-4x4-z24-pickup-choke-wont-open/ http://community.ratsun.net/topic/64578-emission-testfuel-mixture-off-the-charts-failed-twice84-720-z24/ Link to comment
