Seat rails and brackets for Old School Recaro seats (510)

What have you 'Old School Recaro' owners done/used for the seat rails and seat brackets in your 510? I need some advice and suggestions.

 

Anyone use these ebay sliders?

Here are my seats.

I used stock 510 lower brackets and sliders with 1/2" or so square steel tube to adapt the bolt spacing.  Works great if you aren't over 6' tall.

That's a great idea. I can't weld though. If I can't find something pre-fabbed I might hire someone to do that

They are the same width as the Recaro rails it looks like

Yes, It is just different spacing front to back.  Do it!  I got my steel tube from the local OSH hardware store for like $10.

I read that jeep sliders bolt up to the Recaros and are MUCH cheaper, and found a pair for 30.00 total on Ebay, so I tried it. They bolted up to the seats perfectly.

They also bolted up to the mounts in the 510 without any hassle.
