tr8er
You might even need soap for this one Quote Link to comment

powerbench
I need more than soap....Nothing like the smell of mouse piss to get you excited to tear it apart......all the rear plastic is there, two very small cracks at the bottom of the lip....crack free dash pad....spare dash, nice glove box door 90 percent of the glass is good ...2 very reapirable doors , a ton of small bits...I just wish it had the core support i need Quote Link to comment

Chuck Most
...Nothing like the smell of mouse piss to get you excited to tear it apart..... Ah... the smell of motivation! Looks reasonably solid other than that big hole in the passenger's side foot well along the rocker. (Is that a hole I'm seeing? Looks that way in the pic.) Quote Link to comment
720inOlyWa
Nice score- parts galore! Quote Link to comment
graveltrapp
Seems way to complete to pull apart. Why? Quote Link to comment
powerbench
Ya it might look ok on the outside , but Fred Flinstone himself would avoid the car.....the only thing holding whats left of the floor is the tar floor sound deadner...I think the doors are pretty good except for the typical rust on the middle of the door(weird)..I'm gonna try to save as much as i can Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
You might even need soap for this one And a very large bucket of Clorox. Quote Link to comment
Morrisun
Before: After: New sheet metal floors and POR15, set me back $700.00 for the floor restoration. Perhaps something to consider, just getting harder to find a rebuild-able uni-body 1200. I realize, I have no idea what the front of the car looks like, not a good core support at least. 2 Quote Link to comment
powerbench
I'll shoot some more pics of the floor and rockers tomorrow......The entire front core is rusted out and rear clip is gone below the bumper .....beleive me if i could save it I would Quote Link to comment
powerbench
More of the same.... 1 Quote Link to comment
powerbench
I'm gonna see if can cut the quarters off without having the car fold into it's self....I just replaced my driveway , and i like it more than having the parts Quote Link to comment
Chuck Most
Damn. Bummer. At least this one will keep another Datsun on the road. Quote Link to comment
powerbench
If I had the time and the money and the space, I would brace the car up and build a tube chassie , and do a tube cage and frame with a small block to run on the track Quote Link to comment
Morrisun
Sometimes bad is BAD! You win! That is the worst 1200 chassis rust-out I have ever come across-WOW! Hopefully the rest of the parts you need, began to surface. PM me list of what you need, I'll see what I have. Quote Link to comment
powerbench
Thanks Doug , If there is anything you might need let me know as well Quote Link to comment
Littlewass
Any chance you would be willing to sell the glove box door? Just bought a 1200 a couple weeks ago. In pretty good shape. almost all original and 95% there. Found it in Oakland. It's just like the one I bought as my first car in 1986 when I graduated high school. Plan on restoring it completely. powerbench
Sorry Littlewass, That is one of the things I needed as well. It seems the doors turn to dust over time. Once I get everything sorted with what I need for my car , I list all my spares for sale Quote Link to comment
Littlewass
Don't be sorry. I will find one. All part of the fun. Keep an eye out for me though? Thanks, Marc Quote Link to comment

Littlewass
I broke my "vent push" knob when I was taking out my old dash pad to replace it. Any chance you would sell me the one in this car? Marc Quote Link to comment
powerbench
Hey Marc , I went and looked through my stash .....I don't see it , but I swear I took the whole heater box ...let me dig around for the next bit....I'm pretty sure I didn't throw it out Quote Link to comment
Morrisun
If you stumble across 620 pick-up, the "vent push" knob is the same, and the hood latch assembly and the hood release assembly that bolts to the left kick panel, they will work for replacement parts on a 1200. Quote Link to comment
