509_521
So i watched a pair of OEM Bumperettes for a 521 (w/brackets in excellent condition) sell for $611.00 on EBay this morning. That price seems excessive. Are they really that rare? b 1 Quote Link to comment

MikeRL411
But buyers are on occasion stupid, Just watch any of the "Storage Locker" programs on cable or satellite TV if you need proof. The desire to outbid exceeds any semblance of common sense. 3 Quote Link to comment
mrbigtanker
Yup there rare yes they are but not 611.00 rare. I sold a NOS set for 350.00 total shipped. Good for the guy though and bare in mind he had it with a buy it now for 450.00 thats the stupid part. 2 Quote Link to comment

DanielC
I have these. They were recently rechromed, the brackets were derusted in electrolysis, then primed with PPG DPLF, and painted with Dupont 99A black centari, with 793S hardner. As of yesterday, there is a pair of bumperettes on the 521 that is at Portland South Pick-n-Pull. Brackets are bent, and they need rechroming. 3 Quote Link to comment
