Such a genuine tragedy in my opinion. 

 

As for making another one and cost - 

 

Apparently it was made during the USSR era and without any consideration as to money and that is why it was able to be made in the first place.

How NOT to land your Mooney. Landing gear collapsed as he touched down. Used a Backhoe to raise the rear, blocked it up, then used same Backhoe to lift the front. Got the landing gear down and towed it to the hangar. Had to call the NTSB a second time after about 4 hours; Hey; I'd like to get this aircraft off of my runway. Oh, they didn't tell you to move it the first time? No, they told me to leave it. Oh, they shouldn't have done that, you can move it.
